The art of thoughtful gifting

How to Send a Gift to a Brisbane Office

Rustic Elegance Hamper

Before sending a gift to an office, establish the recipient’s actual workplace address and ask whether that workplace accepts gifts. An office name and suburb alone may not identify the right receiving point. Prepare the information first, then ask about any delivery constraint before ordering.

Start with the person and business

Confirm the recipient’s full name, company name, street address and any level, suite or unit information. Check that this is the location where they will be working on the intended day. Avoid relying on an old email signature if the business has moved or the person now works remotely.

Ask about reception and access

Ask a suitable workplace contact whether reception accepts gifts, where a delivery should be addressed and whether the site has entry restrictions. A building’s reception policy does not establish what the delivery service can support. Bring any constraints to us before ordering rather than assuming a note guarantees a particular handover.

Choose a date with the receiving arrangement in mind

Consider the recipient’s working pattern and the workplace’s own availability, then check the requested delivery date for the address. If a particular arrival time is essential, ask whether the requirement can be met before purchasing. This checklist does not promise an appointment or delivery during a specific business-hour window.

Detail Your note
Recipient and company ______
Street / level / suite / locality ______
Recipient working at this location? ______
Reception acceptance and entry constraints ______
Requested date and unresolved questions ______

If access is uncertain

Pause the order and ask about the receiving arrangement. It is better to establish what is possible than to assume a reception desk, security team or colleague can accept the gift.
